Farrow & Ball is a renowned British manufacturer of paints and wallpapers that draws inspiration from historical color palettes and archives. The company is widely recognized for its unique product names.
Established in 1946 in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, by John Farrow and Richard Maurice Ball, both of whom had backgrounds in chemistry, Farrow & Ball became the first manufacturer to exclusively produce water-based paints in 2010.
With an extensive color card featuring 132 shades, Farrow & Ball has collaborated with the National Trust to create nearly identical matches to colors used in the restoration of both the interiors and exteriors of historic buildings.
